报告厅装修，为了满足其建设需求，决定采用众立智能科技（深圳）有限公司的智能中控系统，视频矩阵系统和电源管理系统，对报告厅的各路输入输出信号集中管理，对报告厅的投影机，幕布及音量等设备集中管控。使用 ipad操作，直观方便，灵活操作，更显智能化。
六合区第一图书馆建制于1958年12月，馆舍面积3044平方米，馆内设外借室、电子阅览室、报刊阅览室、少年儿童书刊借阅室、采编室、辅导部等业务服务部门。至2012年底，馆藏文献18.5万余册，其中古籍6900册。持证读者5500余人。目前，该馆现有人员9人，其中高级职称2人，中级职称5人，大专以上文化程度占总人数的100%。2005年、2009年，被文化部评定为国家二级图书馆，2013年，被评定为国家一级图书馆。
多年来，该馆始终坚持“以人为本，服务第一”的工作理念，服务读者。积极开展图书、期刊外借、成人、少儿馆内阅读，代课题检索、送书上门、馆外流通服务网点，基层图书馆（室）业务辅导，参考咨询、代检索课题、跟踪服务等项目，通过举办各类视频讲座和展览等读者活动，对读者进行社会教育和用户培训。常年定期面向市民开展节假日读书活动、“423世界读书日活动”、“图书馆服务宣传周”等各项活动。同时，把服务的触角延伸至各街镇、社区、农村、学校、驻军，建立馆外流动服务点15个，形成以六合区第一图书馆为中心，以服务点为终端的辐射状网络。
